Description:
Valve is lanceolate with rapidly tapering, pointed apices; raphe is lateral, central pore is weakly one-sided or rhombic; axial area is linear and narrow or linear-lanceolate; lineolate striae are radiate or parallel, becoming convergent; length is 30-60µm, breadth is 6-7.5µm; striae count is 10-13 in 10µm (27-30 lineolae in 10µm)
