Ecological Preference:
Valve lanceolate with subrostrate ends; axial area is linear and distinct; central area is large and transversely widened; distinctly punctate striae (punctae 5-7 in 10µm) are radiate and regularly shortened about the central area; length is 90-120µm, breadth is 35-45µm; striae count is 6-7 in 10µm
