Description:
Valve is linear-lanceolate with narrow axial area and elliptical central area; raphe structure is as in the nominate; lineate striae are radiate in the centre, becoming convergent towards the apices; length is 45-48µm, breadth is 6-7µm; striae count is 13-14 in 10µm
