Description:
Valve is linear in shape, with straight to weakly wavy sides, and dully- to broadly-tapered wedge-shaped edges; axial area widens into a small circular central area with small, round central pore; raphe is semicomplex to complex, appearing from time to time as a wide lateral raphe; length is 80-165µm, breadth is 14-22µm; striae count is 7-9 in 10µm
