Description:
Valve elongate, moderately convexing, with slightly concave ventral margin, with bluntly rounded apices; proximal raphe ends are distant, simple, slightly club-like, and slightly deflected to the dorsal margin; distal raphe ends seem to have a slight hook towards the dorsal side of the valve; punctate striae on dorsal side of the raphe are more-or-less well-defined (especially in the central part of the valve), no striae are apparent on the ventral side of the raphe; punctae bordering raphe well-defined
