Description:
Valve is linear to linear-lanceolate with rostrate to capitate ends; striae are slightly radiate from the centre to very slightly convergent at the ends; axial area is slightly expanded at the centre, narrowing to valve ends; raphe is simple; valve in girdle view is reflexed; length is 10-35µm, breadth is 2.7-3.8µm
Notes:
some specimens recorded have slightly longer lengths, smaller breadths than as described
