Description:
Valves linear, somethimes inflated in the center with broadly rounded ends. Transapical striae delicate, not interrupted in the center. Puncta distinct. The valve surface wavy in cross section.
Notes:
According to Hustedt (1959) it is littoral ocean form, widely distributed.
