Valves lunate with subacute ends. Dorsal margin arcuate; ventral margin more or less straight with inflated central portion. Raphe bi-arcuate, axial area wider in the center. Dorsal striae solid, interrupted by longitudinal, arcuate , hyaline line. Ventral striae short, dash-like, not interrupted at the center.
Found only in surface sediments from Butternut Key, Florida Bay where water level is < 1.5 m and average salinity is 29ppt.
