Description:
Valves are similar in shape to Mastogloia braunii (Brun) and is somethims very difficult to destinguish it from that species. Valves length: 68-102µm, breadth: 23-25µm, striae in 10: 12-15. Partecta in the middlelarger than the others 5-7 in 10µm, becoming denser towards the apices 9-10 in 10µm.
