Description:
Valve is lanceolate to elliptical-lanceolate with attenuated, rostrate apices and slightly undulate margins; axial area is narrow, with unexpanded central area; striae are very fine, with longitudinal striae appearing to be a little finer than transverse striae; length is 30-50µm, breadth is 10-15µm; striae count is 36-40 (transverse) and about 40 (longitudinal) in 10µm
