Description:
Valves narrowly linear to linear lanceolate, gibbous at the center, with obtuse, slightly expended apices, 148-245µm long, 6-8.5µm broad at the center. Valve face is externally flat. Transapical striae parallel to radiate, convergent and slightly radiate at the ends, 28-38 in 10µm. Striae are uniseriate, interrupted at the center by narrow stauros, which can be assymetrical. Externally contains two isolated, distinct pores. Raphe straight. A row of points surrounds the polar raphe fissue endings.
