Description:
Valves linear-elliptical with broadly rounded apices, 20-50µm long, 8-14µm broad. Raphe straight, axial area narrow-lanceolate, widened around the central nodule into a large elliptical central area, lunar-crescent-shaped markings in which the striae continue present on both sides of the raphe. Transapical striae slightly radiate, 17-20 in 10µm, often interrupted in the middle, crossed by longitudinal lines on both sides.
