Description:
Valves elliptic to almost circular with strongly wavy margins, and elevated apices, 30-100µm long, 20-80µm broad, center undulating with several ribs located on the valve interior, valve surface and mantle ornamented with areolae arranged in rows (usually 5-6 in 10µm.
