Amphora arcus

Ecological Preference:
Valves narrow, lunate, 40-80µm long, 20-35µm broad. Raphe biarcuate, axial area narrow, central area small. Transapical striae punctate, parallel at the center becoming radiate towards the ends, 10-12 in 10µm. Striae at the ventral siade short, about 15 in 10µm.
Originally discovered in fossil material from Glenshira, near Loch Fine, Scotland.
