Description:
Valves semi-lanceolate, with protracted, capitate ends deflected ventrally. Dorsal margin convex, ventral margin straight. Raphe branches straight, proximal and distal ends deflected dorsally. Axial area narrow, linear, central area absent. There is a prominent conopeum on the dorsal side attached to the valve face, having undulate edges. Transapical striae uniseriate. Dorsal striae parallel, distinctly punctuate, ventral striae not interrupted at the center, hardly resolvable under LM.
