  • Methods
    Sampling Description
    Meteorological data collected to investigate how local climate controls leaf level carbon sequestration of mangroves and how climate controls terpene emission from red mangrove leaves. Basic meteorological data was collected in 1 minute averages. Data were collected as 1 minute averages on Campbell 21X data loggers.

    Instruments installed at approximately 5 m height in a grass field near the Ranger Station dock.

    Campbell HMP45C hygristor, Campbell CS105 barometric pressure sensor, RM Young model 05103-5 propeller anemometer, Weathertronics 6021 B tipping bucket rain guage

    Quality Control
    Dataset is inspected by PI for QA/QC; standard validation checks for negative numbers, graphs to detect potential outliers .
